Note to The Reader

I’m so glad you’re here.  I know firsthand it is just as important for loved ones of addicts to find healing from the affects of pornography as it is for the addicts themselves.  We must first strengthen ourselves, so that we might help strengthen others.  This site is devoted to helping those who may yearn for information, hope, and healing as I did when my husband revealed his pornography addiction.

Even though this website is directed to spouses of addicts, the information can apply to all those with the affects of pornography in their lives.

Though I realize we are all in different places on our journey, I hope you can find something while you’re here to help lift and strengthen you today.  This is by no means an exhaustive list, and though I and those I have invited have shared our thoughts from our own personal situations, truly the only one who can tell you what’s right in your situation is our God.  And remember, His light can penetrate even the darkest of hours.

Three steps that helped me:

  1. Educate myself on the topic
  2. Find and get support (confidant; counselor; etc.)
  3. Reach out to others in my circumstance and be empowered

And if you happen to be an addict on this road, I commend you for realizing you need to change, and desiring that change.  May God be with you to strengthen you and give you the courage you need to walk this hard but rewarding path.  I hope you can find healing and understanding in something here.  You are of worth.  You can change.  I have seen it!

With deepest admiration,
